How to escape from the heat during a car trip without air conditioning

Summer is a hot time. And at the same time, in the summer they travel most often, as the time of holidays begins. Not everyone in the car has air conditioning. And even if it is present, it is not always possible to use its services throughout the trip.

A few general rules and folk savvy will help you endure the summer heat while traveling by car.As already written above, there are several general rules that must be followed in the hot period not only while in the car.

1. Wear light-colored clothes.

The dark surface heats up, the light surface reflects sunlight — this is a rule we learned in school physics lessons. It is advisable to wear light clothes made of natural fabrics that do not fit snugly to the body.

2. Start your journey early in the morning.

Early in the morning you can still catch a slight coolness, so the more time you can capture, the better.

3. Park the car in the shade and don't forget to hang the windows with reflectors.

I think everyone knows what happens to the car if it stands for a while locked in the sun without reflectors.

4. Drink as much water as possible.

And it is desirable that it is not just water, but cool water with lemon - it quenches thirst better.

5. Open opposite windows.

This creates more active ventilation than opening windows that are on the same side. Of course, in a traffic jam, this should not be done!

6. Hang a towel soaked in cold water on the blowing system in the car.

The air will pass through a damp towel and cool down.

7. Use a spray gun with water.

Use it to humidify the air in the car, as well as your face, hands and feet.

8. Eat spicy foods.

I can't say that this is universal advice, if your stomach is sensitive to spicy foods, it will be more of a sabotage than a help. Spicy food helps your body to equal its temperature with the ambient temperature, because of this, the heat is not felt so much, and after a while the secretion of sweat decreases.

Hopefully this will make your travels in the summer at least a little easier. I would like to know your "folk methods". Do you have your own ways of escape from the summer heat in the car?
